I thought when Odysseus fought the cyclopes it was the most interesting, because it got to a point where i thought it was the end but Odysseus used his sneakyness to still win! The part that was the most moving was when he reunited with his son, it was a a loving and comppassinonate part of the story.

My favorite part was when Odysseus's ship came close to the Sirens. I liked how so many men had died going by that island. Odysseus and his men had to prepare for going by that island.

My favorite part was when odysseus's ship came to close to the sirens.

When Odysseus was tied to the pole listening to the siren song was the most exciting part for me because he was trying to get loose so hard to get untied to hear the song that few people have heard and lived to tell the story. The most moving part was when Odysseus was reunited with his son after 20years!

I agree with Sarah here also.
I liked when Odysseus fought the cyclops.

I'd have to say that there was only one exciting part, and that was when he killed the suitors, nothing else really seemed to be described as a challenge. The most moving is the part he has convince Penelope it was him, after twenty years gone I'd have faithe in the person that was gonne is them.

The section of the Odyssey that I enjoyed the most would have to be Part 3 because I eversince we started reading the book, I wanted to see what happened when he got back to Ithica. For the most moving, I would have to say Part 3 again because of the part at the end where Penelope realizes that the beggar was Odysseus. It was moving because they made up for lost times.

It does make sense to say the part where he was tied up was exciting. You didn't say anything about the part that that moved you, jordan

I think the most interesting part was him fighting the cyclops. He went through alot of changes at that point which really made him a better leader to his men.The most moving part was him being reunited with his son after 20 years.

I thought when Odysseus got some men eaten was the mose exciting. It was exciting to me because I like to think of the sound of the crunch when Polyphemus was chewing on them. The most moving was when Odysseus lost six men to that snake lady. I don't think he wanted to lose six of his strongest men.

i KINDA agree with Jordan because the part where they came close to the siren was interesting, but not the most interesting.

I found the battle with the Cyclops was most exciting because it was one of the only parts in the book that actually kept my attention. Odysseus proved that he could be a great leader in this part of the story. The most moving part was the end when Penelope realized it was Odysseus and hugged him.

I agree with you Paul. I like how they stuck that big stick in his eye.

Paul i liked that part to.

I agree with you B.J. I liked the battle with cyclops because is consisted of lying and cheating.

For me the most exciting section was "the test of the bow" because it was the last thing standing between him and his reunion with his wife and finally being home. THe most moveing wa "Father and Son" because it shows that even strong ones have emotions.

In my opinion the one section I found most exciting was when six of Odysseus's best men were eaten by Scylla, yet I found the time when Odysseus found home the most moving because it makes you think about the issue.

I find that the most exciting part of the Odyssey would be when Odysseus came home and found the suitors, I thought Odysseus was going to kill them for trying to marry his wife, Penelope.

i found tht the secound part of the Odyssey was the most eciting because odysseus, in part 2, has to overcome alot of chanllenges like the siren song.

the part of the odyssey that i liked most was part IV i liked this part not only because it was the end of the book but because you get to see how every thing turned out i liked the part where odysseus and telemachus embraced and odysseus cried but only because it was the most heart touching part of the whole book to me
it was my favorite part because i can relate it to my life

The most exciting part to me was when Odysseus's ship was struck by Helios. The reason I like this one is because I thought it had alot os action.

The most interesting part to me, was when Odysseus had to fight the Cyclopes. It made me think about what was going to happen and in the end I got surprised. The most moving part of The Odyssey was when Odysseus finally made it home because it made the whole trip worth while.

The most exciting section in the odyssey is when odysseus blinded the cyclops. I think that because i would like to see what kind of danger peoples curiosity get them into. And the most moving part was when he reunited with his i think that because most fathers dont get that chance.

the most exciting part to me is when Odysseus and his crew was on the ship and they were close to the sirens. It was exciting, because I wanted to see would Odysseus obey to the sirens or would he over come the sirens. The most moving part is when Odysseus and Telemachus saw each other after twenty years. I thought it was moving, because not seeing your father for twenty years and everyone is saying he is dead then all of a sudden he comes home is impossible.

My favorite part of The Odyssey was when Odysseus and his men arrived in Sicily in chapter one and met the cyclops Polyphemus, because I was just being introduced to the Odyssey and it was so great and thought provoking that Polyphemus was one of the first real...problems. lol!
Mostly what i liked about it was how Odysseus introduced himself as "Nobody", so when he and his men plunged the spear into Polyphemus's one eye, the Cyclops could do nothing but howl in agony and scream, "NOBODY did this to me!!!!!". I laughed aloud when I read that!

This is going to be a well thought out blog..

Well Odysseus journeys was suppose to intrigue the reader and excite and explore Odyssues journey, but it didn't for me..

Monsters and gods was not needed to make me read it..

I always like the backdoor look.. A farther look int eh pages and being excited or what could of or what is happening if your werre there and the author didn't wirte about it..

LIke the whole journey the back and forthe emotion on Penlope and Odysseus the story of not getting home.. but finding yourself.. becuase i really think the appearance of the begger wasn't wits and smarts to kill the suitors. .but penelope really didn't know him, that Odysseus change mentally and age didn't matter..

The part of Odyssey that I found the most exciting was when they battled Scylla.I could not think of a most moving part, but the closest that I can think of was when Odysseus was once united with his son.

The most exciting part of the story to me was the battle between the cyclops and Odysseus and his men. They were able to overcome the obstacle of tring to escape the one eyed giants cave. It showed that even giants do fall.

I also agree with anoynmous his example of Odysseus being trapped by the Cyclops is also a good example of an exciting part in the book the Odyssey.

Chad .. i like your point..

the smarter u are the quicker the other persons fall..

The most exciting section of the Odyssey for me was part one. I liked this section because the Cyclops was an exciting section of all of the sections. The most moving section was the last. This was the most moving section becasue it was Odysseus's homecoming.
